Pete Volanakis joined the Colby-Sawyer Board of Trustees in 2012 and served as its chair from 2016 to 2020. As chair of the board, he was committed to shaping and leading an outcomes-based, high performing board with a primary focus on the long-term well-being of the institution.
Professor Chery Whipple, Ph.D., views teaching as a team activity in which it is her role to share knowledge and support the development of a critical mind. She joined the Colby-Sawyer College faculty in 2017 after spending 12 years researching pancreatic and skin cancer at Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
