Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship Information 

Colby-Sawyer College is proud to support future nurses through the Helene Fuld Health Trust Scholarship, offering $6000 awards to six Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) students each cohort – helping to make nursing education more affordable and accessible. 

Application Requirements

There is no separate application form. Instead, all application materials should be submitted by email (see submission details below). As part of your application, please include: 

• Your full name 

• The email address used on your ABSN application 

• Your intended start term (spring or fall) 

In addition, you’ll respond to two essay questions: 

Short Answer (1–2 paragraphs): 
What motivated you to pursue a career in nursing, and why did you choose the ABSN program at Colby-Sawyer? 

Long Answer (3–5 paragraphs): 
How will this scholarship support your success in the ABSN program and help you achieve your long-term goals in nursing? 

You may choose to highlight: 

• Challenges you’ve overcome 

• Skills and experiences you bring to nursing 

• The impact you hope to make in healthcare

Scholarship Disbursement Details

Each scholarship recipient will receive $6,000, awarded in $1,500 installments per semester to help reduce tuition costs throughout the ABSN program.
