Graduate Assistantship

The Burkehaven Family Foundation supports a graduate assistantship designed to provide meaningful professional experience while advancing the growth and visibility of the Colby-Sawyer College MSW program.

This position offers an opportunity for an MSW student to develop leadership, communication and higher education administration skills while helping expand access to graduate social work education throughout New Hampshire and New England.

Working closely with the MSW program director, the graduate assistant contributes to recruitment, marketing and outreach initiatives that strengthen partnerships with colleges, universities, community organizations and prospective students.

Responsibilities may include:

• Building relationships with regional colleges and universities, including institutions throughout New Hampshire and New England.
• Assisting with recruitment efforts for prospective students through email campaigns, virtual information sessions and personalized outreach.
• Supporting social media, website and digital marketing initiatives.
• Developing promotional materials, newsletters and recruitment communications.
• Assisting with alumni engagement and student ambassador initiatives.
• Supporting special events, open houses, webinars and admitted student programming.
