Admissions

MSW Admissions

The following are required for admission to the Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program.

Regular Standing (Summer or Fall start term available)

  • Completion of online application
  • Baccalaureate degree from a nationally accredited program with a 3.0 GPA (below 3.0, please reach out to us)
  • A copy of official transcripts for all post-secondary education 
  • Statement of purpose
  • One letter of recommendation (applicants may instead complete an optional meeting with the MSW Program Coordinator to satisfy this requirement)

  • A resume or curriculum vitae (CV)   

  • GRE not required

Advanced Standing (Fall start term available)

  • Completion of online application
  • Bachelor of Social Work degree from a CSWE-accredited institution with a 3.0 GPA earned within last eight years (longer than eight years, please reach out to us)
  • A copy of official transcripts for all post-secondary education 
  • Statement of purpose
  • One letter of recommendation (applicants may instead complete an optional meeting with the MSW Program Coordinator to satisfy this requirement)
  • A resume or curriculum vitae (CV)   
  • GRE not required
