Student Account Setup 

Please have the following information ready before you begin:

• Your Colby-Sawyer username
• Your temporary password
• A reliable internet connection

Your Colby-Sawyer username and temporary password are provided in an email from helpdesk@colby-sawyer.edu with the subject line “Colby-Sawyer College Network Credentials.” You will receive this email after submitting your enrollment deposit.

First, create a new password. This password will be used to access your campus technology resources. 

Change Your Network Password

Your Colby-Sawyer email account is the college's official method of communication. Be sure to check it regularly for important updates regarding classes, billing, housing, financial aid and campus announcements. 

Sign in to Microsoft 365 using your Colby-Sawyer email address and the password you created in the previous step. You will also need to download and set up the Microsoft Authenticator app to complete the sign-in and secure your account.

⚠️ Online Graduate and Professional Studies Students: STOP — Do NOT complete this step.

The Charger Checklist applies only to traditional undergraduate students and Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) students.

Traditional undergraduate and ABSN students: Once you have set up your network password and Colby-Sawyer email, you can log in to Moodle, our learning management system, to access your required forms and next steps.

Access the Charger Checklist in Moodle and select “Enroll me” to get started.

If you're unable to sign in: 

• Confirm you're using the correct Colby-Sawyer username. 

• Verify that you've activated your account. 

• Double-check that you're entering your password correctly. 

• Try signing in from a different web browser if necessary.
