Doctor of Physical Therapy
Colby-Sawyer Health Science graduates are eligible for a 3-year Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Take advantage of Colby-Sawyer College’s newly formed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) partnership with Plymouth State University (PSU). PSU will guarantee admission for up to four qualified Colby-Sawyer exercise science or health science graduates to continue their education right away in a three-year Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Be Prepared
To qualify for admission to the DPT program at PSU, Colby-Sawyer students must:
- Submit an application for the DPT program at PSU through the American Physical Therapy Association’s physical therapist centralized application service (PTCAS)
- Graduate with a minimum GPA of 3.2
- Complete following pre-requisites:
- Biology with lab
- Anatomy & Physiology I with lab
- Anatomy & Physiology II with lab
- Chemistry I with lab
- Chemistry II with lab
- Physics I with lab
- Physics II with lab
- Statistics
- Social or Behavioral Science - 3 courses with 9 or more credits
Plan Ahead
Students interested in the CSC/PSU DPT path should identify themselves to their advisor as soon as possible and no later than junior year.
