Master of Business Administration
Colby-Sawyer College offers students the opportunity to graduate with both a bachelor’s degree and Master of Business Administration over the course of five years. Students enrolled as business administration majors will have met all prerequisites needed to enroll in the college’s 4+1 MBA option upon completion of the bachelor’s degree program. Students enrolled in other majors must complete three business courses in order to apply for admission to the MBA (Management, Economics, and Financial Accounting).
On Your Agenda
Build skills and apply knowledge in small classes led by professors who have extensive experience in accounting, finance and business. Get up close to the economy during field experiences on Wall Street and while managing a fund with the Student Investment Club.
Increase the value of your resume with your self-selected internship, case studies, financial analyses and simulations. Partner with other business students on entrepreneurial projects through Colby-Sawyer’s award-winning chapter of Enactus. Demonstrate the depth and wealth of your knowledge through a Capstone project completed during your senior year.
Measuring Up
Your academic and career success is directly related to your experience at Colby-Sawyer. That’s why the college is committed to maintaining the highest level of student learning outcomes. In addition to continuous self-assessments, the program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs, ensuring that Colby-Sawyer can provide you with the skills employers want.
See for Yourself
Each year, along with managing an investment fund valued at more than $400,000, the Investment Management Club travels to influential financial institutions in New York City including NASDAQ for the opening bell, the New York Stock Exchange and the Federal Reserve Bank. There’s time to take in the sights and enjoy the city, too.
