Community
Colby-Sawyer welcomes students from different communities, both rural and urban, across the state, country and world. Students who are white; BIPOC; from various ethnicities, economic situations, religious beliefs and political affiliations; neurodiverse; heterosexual; and members of the LGBTQIA communities all find a sense of belonging here. Colby-Sawyer recognizes that young adulthood is a time when we develop our identities and explore the intersectionality among them. Colby-Sawyer, in New London, New Hampshire, is surrounded by majestic mountains and refreshing lakes. A short drive brings you to Mount Sunapee, Mount Kearsarge, Pleasant Lake and Lake Sunapee. New London is the quintessential New England town. Enjoy the varied activities and explore the shops and restaurants adjacent to campus.
