“This milestone, along with the general approval to launch additional master's level programs, reflects Colby-Sawyer's dedication to providing students with the highest-quality academic experience. Kay’Lee Justice and Pape Lukk have achieved success as players and coaches at the college level.
“It’s intimate here,” said the New Jersey resident. “I thought getting to know my classmates and my professors personally would be great for critiquing my own work and appreciating that of others.”
"[Mount] Kearsarge is a large part of the Colby-Sawyer experience,” said Isabell Macrina '25. “Mountain Day alone is an annual tradition, and I hadn't seen it used on a holiday card despite snow-covered mountains being one of the first things I think of when it comes to winter.”
"It is a privilege to open [students'] worlds to the profound impact that science has on their day-to-day lives," Assistant Professor Iris Fischer-McMorrow said.
"Teaching at CSC is about relationships. We have the opportunity to become part of each student’s journey and share in their success."
“I really like when alums have research requests, because I get to look through old photographs with them and talk about what the school was like when they were here and how things have changed,” Stevens said.
During the event, students asked questions about education costs, climate change, mental health and addiction, women’s rights and the process of democracy.
