Joseph Csatari: Painter of the American Spirit  — Davidow Center for Art + Design
Join us during the Homecoming & Family Weekend Opening Reception for the opening of Joseph Csatari: Painter of the American Spirit. Joseph was an American realist artist and collaborator of Norman Rockwell. This posthumous exhibition explores the life and artistic career of Joseph Csatari, featuring paintings and drawings from the Csatari family collection.

Sculpture Dedication  — Davidow Center for Art + Design

Join us for the dedication of two works in the Davidow Center for Art + Design’s Class of 1962 Sculpture Garden: a welded-metal abstract wall sculpture by Robert Friedman (1929–2019), originally dedicated in 1962 at Reichold Science Center, and Super Moon, a new aluminum work by Jay Aubertin.

A Conversation with President Dean McCurdy 
— Room 201, Ivey Science Center
Join President Dean McCurdy for a conversation about Colby-Sawyer College’s progress, priorities and future direction. Hear updates on key initiatives and learn more about the college’s vision for the years ahead. Following the presentation, stay for coffee, breakfast pastries and informal conversation.

Pick up directions at the Homecoming Hospitality Center. Find Chargers around campus and turn them in for prizes. One Charger per person.

Open House — Janet Udall Schaefer ’52 Center for Health Sciences 
Explore Colby-Sawyer’s state-of-the-art facility for academic and clinical training. Home of the School of Nursing & Health Sciences, the building features a simulation center, anatomy and physiology laboratories, conference and workspaces, and Victor’s Corner Café for the entire campus community to enjoy. 

10-11:30 a.m.

Ceramics WorkshopDeborah L. Coffin ’76 Family Ceramics Studio in Memory of David Coffin Jr. ’75, Davidow Center for Art + Design 
Led by Professor Terita Heath-Wlaz, this hands-on workshop will focus on current and age-old approaches to working in clay. Participants will focus on hand building techniques, including pinch, slab, coil, kurinuki and combined processes. Open to all levels. Space is limited; preregistration required.

Join us as we recognize outstanding academic achievement by inducting our newest student members into the Colby-Sawyer College chapter of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

The United States and Iran: Navigating the Politics and Proxies of the Islamic Republic Clements Hall, Ivey Science Center  
Since the Iranian Revolution of 1979 swept a pro-U.S. regime from power and installed a theocratic system, relations between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran have been characterized by mistrust, apprehension and violence. Professor Eric Boyer will offer an overview of the Iranian Regime, exploring how its domestic political situation, regional position as the main Shiite power in the Middle East and support for regional proxies shape the U.S.-Iran relationship.

Enjoy an all-you-can-eat experience at our Homecoming food stations on the Quad! Advance ticket purchases from the registration form are encouraged, though tickets will also be available for purchase at the event. Students may use a meal swipe.

Join us for a celebration honoring the Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2026 inductees: Bill Foti, former men's basketball coach and director of athletics, and George Martin, former women's basketball and volleyball coach and director of athletics. This event is open to the public.

Enjoy a favorite campus event with alumni, students, parents and families!

CSC Players & Alumni Improv Show — Lethbridge Lodge Hosted by CSC Players, this interactive performance brings performers and audience members together for an evening of improvisation and creative play. Whether you choose to participate or simply enjoy the experience, all are welcome.
