Colby-Sawyer College is located in New London, New Hampshire, in the heart of the Dartmouth-Lake Sunapee region, known for the natural beauty of its lakes and mountains. The campus is just minutes from Interstate 89, which runs from Concord, New Hampshire, to Burlington, Vermont, and into Canada.

Traveling North on I-89

• Exit 11 - Right off of exit to New London.
• Proceed one mile and turn left onto Rt. 114/Main St.
• College will be on your right as you enter town.

Traveling South on I-89

• Exit 12 - Left off of exit to New London.
• Follow Newport Rd. about 2.5 miles through town. You will travel through a roundabout approximately 2 miles down Newport Road; take the second exit on the roundabout (straight) and continue on Newport Road.
• Bear right onto Main St./114, follow another mile.
• College will be on your left.

Office of Admissions

The Office of Admissions is located on the first floor of Colgate Hall. Visitors can park in the loop in front of Colgate Hall or on Main Street. See the campus map for details.

Alumni Relations & Advancement Offices

The Office of Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations are located in Colgate Hall. Visitors can park in LOT D in the loop in front of Colgate Hall or on Main Street. See the campus map for details.

Special Events-Visitor Parking

Colby-Sawyer College often hosts events open to the public such as performances, conferences, and parties. These visitors do not need to acquire a parking permit for evening and weekend events. For some daytime conferences or overnight events, special parking areas may be designated and special placards may be distributed for event use. Placards will be made available to you by Event Services (unless otherwise noted) and distributed by the hosting program.

Sawyer Fine Arts Center (SFAC)

General parking for SFAC includes the parking lot off of Seamans Road behind the SFAC which can accommodate approximately 25 vehicles. Other campus parking areas which can be used for SFAC events include Lot J (behind Page Hall), Lot A (in front of Colgate Hall), Lot E (adjacent to Colgate Hall, Lot B (adjacent to James House), Lot C and Lot D (adjacent to the Hogan Sports Center).

Special Access Parking for Sawyer Fine Arts Center

Accessible parking for SFAC is located just off the Academy Quad roadway in front of the building. Those attending SFAC events requiring accessible parking will be allowed admittance to the Academy Quad roadway via Lot E, adjacent to Colgate Hall. This access point will be controlled by a barricade, which will be staffed by Campus Safety/event personnel. Access will be granted to those who meet the criteria for accessible parking.

This may only happen if scheduled with Event Services no less than three days prior to an event.

Ware Student Center/Wheeler Hall (WSC/WH)

General parking for WSC/WH include Lot A (in front of Colgate Hall), Lot E (adjacent to Colgate Hall, Lot B (adjacent to James House), Lot C and Lot D (adjacent to the Hogan Sports Center).

Special Access Parking for Ware Student Center & Wheeler Hall

Accessible parking for those attending events in WSC/WH is located in Lot F near the Dining Room entrance to the WSC. An elevator is available to those individuals attending events on the upper floors of WSC to include Wheeler Hall.

Under certain circumstances prior arrangements can be made through Event Services, no less than three days prior to an event. Those requiring accessible parking will be allowed admittance to the Academy Quad roadway via Lot E, adjacent to Colgate Hall. Access will be granted to those who meet the criteria for accessible parking.
