Joseph Csatari (Feb. 20, 1929 — April 14, 2025) was an American realist artist who worked with Norman Rockwell. This posthumous exhibition, which explores his life and art, features paintings and drawings from the Csatari family collection.

Joseph Csatari touches up the painting for the cover of Spock's World, a 1988 novel by Diane Duane, published by Simon & Schuster.

This session explores the ethical responsibilities of healthcare professionals and institutions in times of crisis, from public health emergencies and climate-related disasters to social instability and humanitarian crises. Drawing on healthcare ethics, crisis-response research, and lessons from the COVID-19 pandemic, the session examines what it means to be ethically prepared.

Ethical preparedness extends beyond logistical planning and emergency response. It requires navigating uncertainty, recognizing competing obligations, attending to vulnerable populations, and making decisions that are just, transparent and worthy of public trust.

Through an engaging presentation and moderated panel discussion, participants will consider how we can cultivate ethical preparedness and respond thoughtfully and equitably to the challenges of an ever-changing world.

Join us for the dedication of two works in the Davidow Center for Art + Design’s Class of 1962 Sculpture Garden: a welded-metal abstract wall sculpture by Robert Friedman (1929–2019), originally dedicated in 1962 at Reichold Science Center, and Super Moon, a new aluminum work by Jay Aubertin.
