Understanding that 40% of college students transfer for a variety of reasons, Colby-Sawyer wants to help make your transfer process easy and accessible, starting with an affordable $18,026 tuition.

We welcome transfer students in both the fall and spring semesters on a rolling basis. Our Transfer Admissions Counselor, Will Dyer Kloman, is here to help you from application through graduation.

Application Checklist

  • Official high school transcript
  • Official transcripts from all colleges or universities attended
  • Writing sample discussing why you wish to transfer to Colby-Sawyer

Nursing Transfer Applicants

We welcome nursing transfer students to apply. For a list of nursing transfer specific admissions requirements, please visit our nursing applications page and review the BS with a Major in Nursing requirements. Transfer Student Events

Join us for one of our two Spring Transfer On-The-Spot Decision Days. You will be able to receive an on-the-spot, non-binding admissions decision, get a transfer credit evaluation, and go on a student led tour.

Cost & Financial Aid

Academic awards and scholarships range up to $8,500. Last year, 100% of incoming students received aid from Colby-Sawyer. For our fall start term, apply by our Early Action deadline of December 15th and earn an additional $1,000 scholarship.
