student interns

Students enrolled in the college's Child Development Program provide additional staffing. They are, of course, supervised by both college and Windy Hill faculty. For them it is an opportunity to learn about young children and appropriate early childhood practices, through direct interaction with children at Windy Hill. They greatly enhance our programs by the caring and individual attention they provide the youngsters.

All college students working at Windy Hill must abide by the NAEYC Code of Ethics that prohibits them from discussing children and their families outside of the school environment. Many of these students form friendships with Windy Hill families, providing sitting services throughout the school year. The school bulletin boards generally have names and phone numbers posted of students desiring sitting jobs.
