If You Fall
Stress is a toxic feeling
A heavy weight in your chest
It's an anchor that drags you down
You can't untie the rope.
Anxiety is a balloon
Small and deflated then gets bigger
Bigger until an explosion
With all these worries until
You are gasping for oxygen and
You can't figure out how to put the pieces
Of that balloon back together
And it's a bitch cause these two are friends
Playing on the seesaw
Ups and downs, highs and lows, and
You are stuck in the middle trying to find
Your balance
And it's ok if you fall off
Because the popping and dragging and hurting
Can be overwhelming, I know
But just cry it out
Take a deep breath and slowly release it
