In my four years attending Colby-Sawyer College I have come to the conclusion that I create abstract work, like images with subject matter that cannot be identifies right away, or from a new perspective. The idea of turning something ordinary into something extraordinary excites and encourages me to push myself further. I have studied drawing, painting, printmaking, and my concentration, photography, along with others. In each course I played with many genres to find what best suited me. By the end of the courses my favorite genre would always be abstract.
