My Colby-Sawyer Experience

“I used a lot of the research and writing techniques I learned in my philosophy and media studies classes. Now that I know I can do something as large as this project, I have a new sense of confidence.”
Andrew Baker, Communication Studies

Helpful Hints

  • Major. As courses become full, we frequently give preference to declared majors. If you have decided to change your major, be sure to complete an Intent to Major/Minor form available in myRegistrar (this form simply reflects your intentions, and should not be confused with the Major Acceptance process).

  • Holds. Students must clear financial, medical, and academic obligations before registration. Students will be notified in advance if they are on hold.

  • Summer Internships. Registration for summer internships should be submitted during the April registration period. Contact the Harrington Center prior to the registration period for information regarding this process. Summer internships taken for credit will be billed at the current course fee per credit hour (see college catalog).

  • Independent Studies. Proposals for independent studies should be submitted during the normal registration period for the next semester. Please remember that independent study courses may not be used to satisfy program requirements.
