FLU VACCINATION INFORMATION
Flu season is coming. Influenza, commonly called the Flu, is a serious respiratory illness that can cause fatigue, fever, cough, missed classes and serious complications. College students live, work and play in close contact with one another putting them at greater risk for getting and spreading the influenza virus. You can protect your student from getting the Flu or reducing the severity of the symptoms by having them get the Flu vaccine. All students will receive emails and will see bulletin boards advertising our Flu Clinic events.
Students who have a history of asthma, pneumonia, diabetes or any chronic disease or health condition are at higher risk of complications from influenza.
Dates of clinics:
- Wednesday, October 22, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Wednesday, November 5, from 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Location: Alumni Lounge
Cost: $15 cash or check, payable on day of clinic.
