Lisa Falconi '05 presents her Capstone project to onlookers. Her presentation was a case study of a six year old boy in foster care and dealt with issues such as post-tramatic stress disorder and attachment in children.
This project, and well as those of other senior psychology majors, was set up in Hogan Sports Center as part of the Susan Colby Colgate Scholars Symposium on April 27. Classes were cancelled so that students, faculty, and staff could attend.
Throughout the day, students shared their research and scholarship through a variety of media. The symposium featured students from all majors: art; biology; child development; business administration; communication studies; community and environmental studies; English; exercise and sport sciences; history, society and culture; nursing; and psychology.
