Course Director

Susan Reeves, EdD, RN, is The Gladys A. Burrows Distinguished Professor of Nursing, Chair of the Department of Nursing and Public Health at Colby-Sawyer College, and Vice President of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Reeves has over 30 years of experience in a variety of clinical nursing disciplines as well as health care management and academic nursing education. She teaches in the Nursing, Public Health and Business Administration Departments at Colby-Sawyer and is active in nursing research at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in White River Junction, Vt.

Didactic Instructor

Joan Huber, MS, RN-BC, CNE, is an Assistant Professor of Nursing and Public Health at Colby-Sawyer College. Prof Huber has more than 40 years of experience in critical-care nursing, medical-surgical nursing, nursing administration, and academic nursing education. Her knowledge and skill as a clinician, administrator and educator provide her with the experience to assist nurses returning to the profession.

Clinical Instructor

Peter Nolette, MSN, MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Colby-Sawyer College. Professor Nolette earned a Diploma in Nursing from Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing; a B.S. in Nursing from Norwich University; and an M.B.A. from Franklin Pierce College. Nolette is a certified wound care nurse and a certified foot care nurse. Employed at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center since 1977, minus a two-year hiatus when he was a staff nurse at Fairfax Hospital in Virginia, Nolette has held a variety of nursing and administrative positions at DHMC and was most recently a wound care nurse.
