Student Nurses’ Association
The Student Nurses’ Association (SNA), a chapter of the National Student Nurses’ Association, is a recognized campus organization that enables Colby-Sawyer students entering the nursing profession to learn more about their field, share their experiences and develop connections to other state and national nursing organizations. All nursing majors are invited to attend the monthly meetings. Activities include service projects as well as professional development opportunities.
Colby-Sawyer College Honor Society for Nursing
The Colby-Sawyer College Honor Society for Nursing dedicates itself to improving the health of people worldwide by increasing the scientific base of nursing practice. Members of this honors society must have a GPA of 3.0, rank in the upper 35 percent of their graduating class, meet the expectation of academic integrity, and obtain two endorsements. Graduating students wear honor cords of purple and white.
