Colby-Sawyer nursing students begin preparing for their National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) during their first nursing course and seniors have a year-long NCLEX preparatory course.

NCLEX-RN is an acronym for National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. It is a standardized exam designed to test the knowledge, skills and abilities of nursing graduates and it is required for licensure in all fifty states.
