The Nursing and Public Health department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health. The program features a nursing laboratory and interactive computer laboratory for clinical simulation. Clinical experiences in medical, surgical, psychiatric, and maternal/child, community health and obstetrical/gynecological nursing are integrated into the program.
Clinical affiliates include Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Concord Hospital, New London Hospital, Lake Sunapee Visiting Nurses Association (VNA), VNA of Vermont and New Hampshire, hospice organizations and public schools.

The Nursing Update 2013 course at Colby-Sawyer College provides nurses who have not accumulated 400 of practice hours within 4 years, or who have been working in a specialty area, or feel the need to review and update his/her medical-surgical nursing knowledge and be aware of educational, professional and practice issues occurring in the nursing profession.
