        <title> The Creative Writing Program To Graduate Its First Students </title>

        <description><![CDATA[Colby-Sawyer College will celebrate the graduation of its first class of Creative Writing majors, when three members of the Class of 2013 cross the stage to receive their Bachelor of the Arts degrees at Commencement on May 11.  The program's origins began in 2007, when the topic of introducing new majors to the curriculum was under discussion. Faculty, staff and students were asked to consider what kinds of programs would best benefit the school. ]]></description>

        <description><![CDATA[The Colby Sawyer College Fine and Performing Arts Department presents George Bernard Shaw's 1912 play "Androcles and the Lion," a morality folktale of a Roman slave who finds a friend in a merciful lion after removing a painful thorn from its paw. Performances will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 4, 5 and 6 at 7 p.m. in the Sawyer Center Theatre. There will also be a special matinee at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5. ]]></description>
