Adventures in Learning Program Offers Speaker Program to Community Organizations for No Cost

NEW LONDON, N.H. – Adventures in Learning, a community-based educational program of educational enrichment for adults in the Kearsarge-Lake Sunapee Region, announced this week that 19 of its study leaders have volunteered to serve, pro bono, as visiting speakers at the churches, schools and non-profit organizations in the area.

In making the announcement, Art Rosen, president of Adventures in Learning, said the speakers group was made up of retired physicians, attorneys, clergy, military personnel, educators and others whose careers were in business, science and the arts. All of the speakers regularly offer courses at Adventures in Learning, most hold graduate degrees, and many have taught at the college or graduate level.

“The speakers can be keystones at luncheon meetings, adult education activities or school programs,” said AIL President Rosen. “It is part of Adventures in Learning's commitment to embrace and enrich the community.”
