My Colby-Sawyer Experience

“Anytime students are talking with their families about what they're learning, that really pleases me.”

Over my Field I Walk

Over my field I walk on ancient decay,
Beyond the time of fallen forests,
And bones lost in mineralization-
Of a 50,000 thousand years an eye blink of a second,
Of 50,000 thousand leaves fallen,
Do I step meekly across a thin carpet of time-
My shadow is already fading as I approach the fence line,
In the evening dull bright, making a deep stretch of my body.
A moving print over the suns rays of grass-
A moving spirit that will not last.
