175th Celebration

The dates below are listed to help you as you make your travel arrangements. For a full list of dates for the 2012-2013 academic year, please click here

October 8-9 – Fall Recess (no classes)

The residence halls remain open during Fall Recess.

November 21-23 – Thanksgiving Recess

Students may obtain permission to stay in their rooms by filling out a housing form one week before the break.

December 14 – End of Fall Semester

All students must be out of their rooms by 10 am. on December 14, when the residence halls will close. The college will remain closed until January 5. No one is permitted to stay on campus during this period. (December 14 –to Jan 5.) Please do not rely on your Friendship Family for housing during this time. If you do not have friends or relatives to visit, it's a good time to travel and see a new part of the US. Those students who remain in the U. S. for the winter break, may return to campus on January 6, but only with special permission.

January 7-21 – Between Semesters

Classes have not yet resumed, but students may obtain permission to stay in their rooms by filling out a housing form one week before the break.

January 21 – Returning Students Arrive
January 22 – Beginning of Spring Semester
February 25 – Winter Recess

The residence halls remain open during winter recess.

March 11-15 – Spring Break

Students may obtain permission to stay in their rooms by filling out a housing form one week before the break.

End of Spring Semester

The residence halls close for non-graduates at 7 p.m., Monday, May 6, or within 24 hours of students' last final exam.
