To Returning Students unable to connect to PowerCampus/Moodle:
Your password is only good for 365 days. You will need to change it to be able to log in.
If you have enrolled in the SSRPM (Self Service Reset Password Management) you can go there to reset your password. You can get there by clicking on the link for "Self Service Reset Password Management" on the Web Gateways page on Colby-Sawyer's web site.
Then click on "Reset your password". It will prompt you for your User name and on the next page it will list the three challenge questions you had chosen when you enrolled in SSRPM. Then you can enter a new password.
If you have not enrolled in SSRPM you can reset your password by clicking on the link for "MyApps" on the web gateways page. It will prompt you for your User Name and current password. Then it will prompt you for Old Password, New Password, and Confirm New Password.
Type your current password for Old Password and then type your new password twice and click on Submit. You will see a message "Your Password has been changed successfully". The next page that loads is for Citrix Access Gateway do not download the file just click on click here to proceed without it. Then just click "Logout" twice and then click "OK". This will close your window.
Remember your new password has to be at least 8 characters long (minimum; it can be longer). And you must have 3 of the 4 following types of characters in your new password:
- Upper Case Letter (A, B, C, etc.)
- Lower Case Letter (a, b, c, etc.)
- Number (1, 2, 3, etc.)
- Special Character (@, #, $, etc.)
If you have not enrolled in the "Self Service Password Reset Management" please go back to the web gateways page and enroll. This gives you complete control of your password yourself and you can change it when ever you need to.
