"My Apps" is a way for staff and faculty to access college-licensed software applications from anywhere. Log in with your Colby-Sawyer username and password (see Figure 1 below). Logged in you will see icons for the available programs (see Figure 2 below). Click on one of these icons to launch that application. Because the server farm is on campus, your application runs in the campus network "space"- documents are saved to users' P: drives or other network share folders. Use your best saving habits when working with server based programs.
Your computer needs the Citrix client software (college computers already have it) to use My Apps. You may need to explore the Citrix web site to download and install the appropriate XenApp client package for your system.

There is a My Apps icon called "Desktop". Desktop is a full Windows desktop session with all of the standard programs found on all college systems. Please click here for more information on the Desktop application.
