How do I find where books are in the library? The library is arranged by The Library of Congress Classification system (LC).
A through L are found on the upper level of the barn;
M through Q are found on the ground level of the barn;
R through Z are on the lower level of the barn.
Oversize materials are on the lower level
Reference materials are on the ground level
Audiovisual materials are on the 2nd level
Do you have printers and copiers? The library has 2 black and white printers and one color printer. There is no charge for printing. There are two photocopiers in the library, one is coin-operated and the other accepts Smartcard payments. Copies are 10 cents/page. The library also has 3 scanners.
How much does it cost to print/copy? There is no charge for printing, copies are 10 cents per page.
Do you have any children's books? The library has a small collection of children's books in the Curriculum Lab. These books are located on the 2nd level, behind the Circulation Desk.
How can I get a book from another library? The library offers Interlibrary Loan services for CSC faculty, staff and students. As a member of the CSC community, you may receive a free library card at New London's public library, Tracy Memorial Library, 304 Main Street.
Do you have newspapers and/or magazines? The library has print and online newspapers and magazines for use in the building. Newspapers and magazines cannot be checked out of the library.

Access World News The electronic editions of record for local, regional, and national U.S. newspapers as well as full-text content of key international sources; includes world map
Is there a quiet place where I can study? We strive to maintain a quiet atmosphere in the "quiet barn" (signs and table tents in the barn closest to Mt. Kearsarge), the Archives Reading Room is sometimes available for quiet study as well.
Can I get a library card if I'm not a student? CSC offers library cards to residents of New London and the surrounding area, please see the Circulation desk for information on borrowing privileges, computer log-ins, and fees.
