The Archives collects, preserves, and makes available to researchers many types of primary source material which document the history and development of Colby-Sawyer College, including photographs, correspondence, yearbooks, and manuscripts.

In addition to institutional records, the Archives also maintains the Library's Special Collections and materials of long-term value from notable men and women of New Hampshire, including the late New Hampshire Congressman James C. Cleveland's papers and the Pillsbury Family papers.

The Archives is open Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm or by appointment. The Colby-Sawyer College archivist is available to answer questions, to serve as a research consultant, and to provide class instruction and tours. Research requests received in person, through the mail, over the phone, or via electronic mail will be handled as time and the availability of the staff allows.
