  • Monday, 1:00pm-9:00pm
  • Tuesday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
  • Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays, CLOSED

Research Hours (no appointment required)

  • Mondays, 6:00pm-9:00pm
  • Wednesdays, 9:00am-11:00am
  • Thursdays, 3:30pm-5:00pm

All other times require an appointment made at least 48 business hours in advance

About the Archives

The Archives is home to many types of primary source material that document the history and development of Colby-Sawyer College, including photographs, correspondence, yearbooks, and manuscripts.

In addition to institutional records, the Archives maintains the Colby Sawyer College's Special Collections which consists of the college's selection of rare books as well as manuscript collections of notable men and women from New Hampshire, including the late New Hampshire Congressman James C. Cleveland's papers and the Pillsbury Family papers.

Services

The Colby-Sawyer College archivist is available to answer questions, to serve as a research consultant, and to provide class instruction and tours. Research requests received in person, through the mail, over the phone, or via electronic mail will be handled as time and the availability of the staff allows.
