internships and careers

Learning On Campus…And Off

At Colby-Sawyer, 98 percent of students complete an internship and gain work experience before graduating.

Humanities majors design an internship or service-learning project which gives them experience in the work place and increases their awareness of some of the career opportunities available to them. Possible sites include newspaper, magazine and book publishers; radio stations; advertising agencies; corporate marketing departments; human resource departments; state governments and public relations firms.
