Flowers: Violet-Blue Flowers, 1/2inch long in dense, one-sided racemes.Flowers late spring and summer.

Leaves: Leaves have 8 to 12 pairs of leaflets terminating at the tendril.

Form:Trailing or climbing vines with pea shaped flowers and tendrils at the tips of the leaves.

Habitat: Fields and roadsides.

NWI Status: Upland
