“Colby-Sawyer people are really nice to be around, and the professors are great. Some of the classes have really changed my life, and I didn't expect that.”

Sessile Bellwort Uvularia sessilifolia
Lily Liliaceae family
Leaves are sessile, but they do not clasp the stem. Oblong or oval-shaped leaves are pale beneath. The stem usually forks above mid-way.
Flower is a solitary, slender, creamy-yellow, bell-shaped, hanging flower at the end of the stem.
Fruit is a triangular pod.
Form/Habitat:Sessile bellwort grows 6-12" high in woods and thickets. I found this one growing with Goldthread.
