Dwarf Ginseng Panax triflorum
Ginseng Araliaceae family
3 stalked leaves grow in a whorl, with each leaf divided into 3-5 leaflets. Leaflets are toothed.
Flower is a white, delicate, umbel that is very rounded on top. Each tiny flower has 5 narrow petals.
Fruit is a yellow berry.
Form/Habitat:Dwarf ginseng is a small woodland plant, 4-8" high, that prefers rich, moist woods. The root is a round tuber. Blooms in April.
