Wool Grass Scirpus cyperinus

Flower stalks radiate out from one point and then radiate again, end stalks droop. This flower becomes very "fuzzy" late in the summer and turns brown.
Form: The stem is triangular, and the grass has long, leafy bracts. This is as tall grass, growing up to 5 ft.
Ecology Native. Perennial.
Habitat: Grows in clumps in wet places.
