Bladder Sedge Carex intumescens
Sedge Cyperaceae family
Flower: Male flower cluster and has very inflated, shiny sacs in a round flower cluster.
Form:Triangular Stem and leafy bracts,usually appriximately 1 - 2.5' tall.
Ecology: Native. Perennial.
Habitat: Grows in clumps in wet soil in late May-September
NWI status: FACW+
