Rafinesquia neomexicana
Asteraceae

Height: Up to 20"

Leaves: 6" long and lobed. They are dark green. The leaves get smaller higher up on the stem.

Flowers/Fruit: In bloom February to May. It is white, ray shaped and 1 3/4" wide. The petals have 5 teeth at the tip.

Form/Habitat: 200' to 3,000'. Sandy or gravelly slopes and washes. The stem is weak and will often grow next to shrubs for support.
