Height: Up to 20"
Leaves: 4" long and green. They are oblong and found at the base of the stem.
Flowers/Fruit: In bloom March to July. The flowers are light to dark blue and 1/2" long. They are densely clustered on 1 to 3 heads on the stem and have a pungent odor.
Form/Habitat: Below 4,000'. Found in washes and disturbed areas of pinyon-juniper communities.
