Grape Vitaceae family
Leaves fan-compound, formed from 5 palmate coarsely toothed leaflets. Hairy or Hairless, 3"-8" dull above.
Flowers/Fruit: Small whitish or greenish flowers in branching clusters. The fruit is a bluish-black berry, 3/16"-5/16", Aug.-Feb.
Twigs/Bark: Bark is tight and often spotted. The twigs are hairless and bright red near the fruit.
Form/Habitat: A climbing vinewith tendrils ending in disks. Woodlands, wet places. Flowers June-Aug.
