welcome to colby farm
We hope you enjoy your stay at the beautiful Colby Farm, a "home away from home" for Colby-Sawyer's special guests.
The Farmhouse
Colby Farm is reminiscent of an old New England farm house located on the campus of Colby-Sawyer College. Guests at Colby Farm will have access to one of four private guest rooms, a luxurious living room, spacious conference room and meeting space, and relaxing den.
Arrival/Departure
Checking-in: Please communicate your expected arrival time on campus with your College contact so that we can arrange for someone to meet you. (Upon arrival, please use the main house door at the end of the brick walkway next to the lamp post.)
Checking-out: Simply leave your room key on the nightstand of your room upon check-out. Standard check-out time is 10:00a.m., however your College contact will work with you to arrange your departure time from campus in special circumstances.
Directions
From I-89 North: Take exit 11, Route 11 East toward Andover/New London (that is, at the end of the ramp, turn right onto Route 11). About 1 mile along this road, there is a 4-way intersection with a blinking yellow light. At this light, turn left onto Main Street. A half-mile later, you will pass Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on the left. After the church, the fourth house on the right is known as Appletree Cottage. The driveway to Colby Farm is just past this cottage's driveway and BEFORE the black mailbox marked #619 Colby Farm and the fire hydrant. Turn right into the winding driveway, drive behind the Curtis L. Ivey Science Center, and between the low stone walls into the garage area of Colby Farm.
From I-89 South: Take exit 12, Route 11 West toward New London (that is, at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Route 11). About 2.5 miles along this road, past the main shopping district, stay right and continue onto Main Street (RT-114). Continue along Main Street for another mile, past the main entrance of Colby-Sawyer College. You will see a white picket fence just past the College on the left side of the road. The driveway to Colby Farm is at the break in the picket fence, just PAST the black mailbox marked #619 Colby Farm and the fire hydrant, and BEFORE the sign for the Appletree Cottage. Turn left into the winding driveway, drive behind the Curtis L. Ivey Science Center, and between the low stone walls into the garage area of Colby Farm.

Parking
You may park your vehicle in the driveway at Colby Farm away from the garage bays. You will be issued a temporary parking permit which will allow you to park in other campus lots during your stay.
Amenities
Our four guestrooms sleep two guests each. Two have queen beds, two have sets of twin beds. One room has a private bath, the others a shared bath.
Colby Farm has a telephone available for on-campus, as well as incoming and outgoing calls. The telephone number at Colby Farm is (603) 526-3139.
Our comfortable den includes a variety of books and magazines; cable television; coffee, tea, and hot chocolate; and chilled bottled water and soft drinks.
There is limited wireless Internet connectivity at Colby Farm. You may also utilize any of the public computer/Internet workstations in the Susan Colgate Cleveland Library/Learning Center during your stay on campus.
