What time and where is Commencement?
It will be under a tent at 10:30 on Saturday, May 11, on the college's front lawn, by the half-circle on which Colgate Hall is located. Just in case come prepared for cool or rainy weather.
Do I need tickets to attend the ceremony?
If Saturday's weather forecast calls for rainy and cold weather, tickets will be given to graduates at Friday's rehearsal and limited to 6 per graduate. Tickets are not necessary for standing outside the tent. The tent will open at 9:30 a.m. for seating.
How do I get a ticket?
Each graduate will receive 6 tickets for tent seating of family and guests. Tickets will be given to graduates Friday, May 10 during the Commencement rehearsal and Barbecue lunch under the tent from 11 1:30 p.m.
How long is the ceremony?
It usually lasts about one and one-half hours.
Where do I park?
Campus safety officers will be at campus entrances to direct guests to the parking lots. Check out the Parking and Access page for further information.

How do I get a list of local hotel accommodations?
A list of local accommodations and restaurants can be found by visiting the Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce website.

What happens after the ceremony?
Immediately following the ceremony, graduates, families, and friends are invited to attend a Post Commencement Reception for light refreshments to congratulate and bid farewell to your college classmates, faculty and staff before lunch with your families in town.
