As members of the Colby-Sawyer community, we are entitled to an inclusive and caring, living and learning environment. Students, faculty, and staff members alike can feel comfortable knowing Colby-Sawyer is a community founded on mutual respect and support. To this end, we have adopted the Code of Community Responsibility to articulate the college's standards for behavior. Colby-Sawyer College is much more than a group of individuals. We are a community. Therefore, a unique set of responsibilities is expected of each of us.
We are expected to temper our personal freedoms with respect for the rights, dignity, self and property of others in the community. We are expected to involve ourselves as part of a unique whole whose shared vision is the development of personal and interpersonal excellence; to join creatively in attaining that vision. We are expected to read, think about, and question our Code of Community Responsibility. As members of the Colby-Sawyer community, we are bound to honor and uphold the Code of Community Responsibility.
The policies that make up the Code of Community Responsibility can be viewed utilizing the navigation in the left sidebar. Individual policies can be printed directly from your browser for future reference.
