Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention & Education Programs

The Office of Citizenship Education and the Baird Health and Counseling Center offer several programs on alcohol and other drug education, prevention, and intervention. The following are some of the programs offered through these departments.

  • Beer, Booze, and Books: A Sobering Look at Higher Education
    Jim Matthews's book on alcohol use in college focuses on research and student interviews to present information and startegies about how to manage low or no risk alcohol use in college.

  • Confronting Marijuana Use
    An interactive program about how to talk with a friend about drug use. Contact Citizenship Education for more information.

  • How to Help a Friend With a Drinking Problem
