Re: Network Access after Commencement
Congratulations on your impending graduation.
In preparation for separating from the college you need to be aware that 30 days after commencement your network account will be disabled. Prior to that date you should backup important files that are on any network server. This includes, but is not limited to, your P: drive, Blackboard, and e-mail store.

Files stored on your P: drive or any network share can be burned to a CD. If you do not have a CD burner on your personal computer there are resources available in the Library and computer labs. Be sure to bring an adequate supply of blank CDs for this purpose.
We recommend that you use an email address other than your Colby-Sawyer College email address on your resume. Once your account is disabled, 30-days after commencement, anyone that sends an email to your '@colby-sawyer.edu' address will receive an error.

Students who have created a portfolio in Blackboard and wish to make a digital copy can use the Download Portfolio feature to create a zip file of their Bb Portfolio.
IQ Web will be available to graduates through August, 2005. Use the Off-Campus Access link from the CSC Homepage for this purpose when away from campus.
