The purpose of the club is to make the Colby-Sawyer community aware of the History, Society, Culture major, and to expose the Social Sciences and Humanities to the Colby-Sawyer College Community. The club also strives to educate its members of the opportunities available to them after Colby-Sawyer College. This will be done through guest lecturers, field trips, and workshops, seminars and graduate school fairs.
Students of the History, Society, and Culture major founded the "History, Society and Culture Majors' Club" to promote their major at Colby-Sawyer and to provide a way to explore their interest in history outside the classroom. The club is sponsored by Dr. Randy Hanson.
