Article I
The name of this club will be the History, Society, and Culture Majors Club.

Article II
Membership in this club will be open to all History, Society, and Culture majors and any interested Colby-Sawyer students.

Article III
Section 1. The purpose of this club is to make the Colby-Sawyer community aware of the History, Society, and Culture major, and expose the Social Sciences and Humanities to the Colby-Sawyer community.

Section 2. The duties of this club include informing History, Society, and Culture majors of the opportunities available after Colby-Sawyer College. In doing so the club will coordinate guest lecturers, speakers, field trips, and provide opportunities for workshops, seminars, and graduate school fairs, job fairs, etc.

Article IV
Section 1. The offices of this club will consist of a President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

Section 2. Officers shall be elected by a majority vote during the 2nd semester of each school year.

Section 3. The duties of the President will include presiding over each meeting and event while delegating responsibilities to corresponding members. The duties of the Vice President will be to preside in the absence of the President and to work collectively with the President. The duties of the Secretary will include keeping accurate records of each meeting and event. The duties of the Treasurer will include effectively and accurately managing the club's finances.

Article V
The History, Society, and Culture Majors Club sponsor will be chosen during the 2nd semester of each school year. This club has the opportunity to keep the same sponsor from year to year, or choose a different sponsor on a yearly basis by a majority vote of the club.

Article VI
Meetings will be held twice a semester and whenever the club deems necessary.

Article VII
Attendance is strongly recommended and excessive absences may result in dismissal at the discretion of the club. A majority vote will be required for dismissal.

Article VIII
The constitution may be amended by a required majority vote of the club.
