My Colby-Sawyer Experience

“Take every opportunity available because the chances of having it again are not very good. Looking back, I did do a lot, but I could have done more.”

Pre-Internship Seminar Format

The Pre-Internship Seminar is now an online course and provides you with the information
you need to successfully select, secure, and complete an internship that will help you meet
your goals and objectives academically and professionally.

You will proceed through the course step by step as directed and be able to access pertinent
documents necessary for the internship process. Once you finish all sections, there is a
competency
assessment test that you will need to complete. You must meet the
minimum competency
of 28 correct answers in order to meet this prerequisite requirement.
If you fail to do so, you will need to review the seminar again and retake the test
until you pass the minimum competency requirement.

You will self-register using your Colby-Sawyer College email address (use of this address is campus policy).
The steps to register are as follows:
1. Log onto Moodle
2. Scroll down to the Course Search Box
3. Enter Pre-Internship Seminar
4. Enroll and complete the seminar and test!

The Pre-Internship Seminar is open year-round with periodic downtime for upgrades and maintenance. You can send email to your instructor through this site but you must retrieve email using your choice of email programs (Outlook, Outlook Express, or the Exchange Web Client - all provided by the school)
