The Colby-Sawyer College Distinguished Service Awards were established in 1994, by the Campus Activities Office, to recognize and honor students who have made a distinguished contribution to campus life at Colby-Sawyer College during the current academic year. The ceremony is held in April.

Eligibility

  1. Only full-time Colby-Sawyer College students will be eligible.

  2. Having been previously honored does not disqualify one for re-nomination.

  3. The student must be in good academic standing with the college.

Criteria for Selection

1. The student must make a distinguished contribution to campus life.

2. The student must exceed the normal duties of his/her position - "above and beyond the call of duty."

3. The student may qualify by contributing through services to
a particular organization by: A. The performance of duties as an officer.
B. Enhancing the activities of that organization C. Enrichment of the CSC residential community.

4. The student may qualify by making a significant contribution to a major
campus event.

5. The student may qualify through consistent support and encouragement of,
or guidance to, a range of organizations or activities.
