Nominations for the Colby-Sawyer Award (Spring 2009)

In 1934, Dr. H. Leslie Sawyer established the Colby-Sawyer Award to honor that member of the graduating class who, in the opinion of the faculty, best exemplifies the ideals of the college in personal dignity, intellectual growth, contribution to campus life, and constructive influence upon other students.
Please e-mail your individual nomination to Nancy Staszkiewicz at nstaszki@colby-sawyer.edu. Be sure to select your nominee from the eligibility list and add any comments you feel may be helpful in presenting finalists to the faculty (e.g. department or other special recognition or awards).

The Academic Dean and Vice President for Student Development & Dean of Students will review all responses to identify the finalists who have the highest number of nominations. Voting will take place at the March faculty meeting.
